Pre-Apprenticeship Training
STEPs for Success (SFS) is a workforce development and pre-apprenticeship training program delivered by Capital Business Solutions (CBS). Recognized nationally as a leading workforce readiness initiative, SFS is results-driven and built on a foundation of continuity, consistency, and reinforcement to ensure participants effectively retain and apply their skills.
The SFS Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program equips at-risk individuals with the tools needed for meaningful employment and long-term self-sufficiency. Through our partnership with the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters, participants receive hands-on carpentry training that strengthens their technical skills and real-world experience.
Upon completion, participants transition into paid trade show apprenticeships that include benefits and a pension—launching them into a sustainable career, not just a job.
